We teach, love and play cricket!
And thanks to our players and members we're pretty good at it too. The first XI play in the ECB Yorkshire South Premier League, and the second team in the standard just below, the Championship Division of the SYSCL. The juniors are just as good too! The U15's finished third in the ECB National Club Championship last year and every year we help hundreds of kids enjoy the discipline, team spirit and sport of cricket.
But we need your help...
... to build a new pavilion. Without it we won't be able to stay playing in the top division. The ECB insist on a certain level of facilities and our much loved but dilapidated 40 year old pavilion just isn't good enough for the standards that the rules now require.
With a new pavilion we'd also be able to provide facilities that are suitable for all our members, young, old and of all abilities. At the moment the old pavilion isn't suitable for those with limited movement or special needs. And as a community club this is as important to us as staying at the top.
A new pavilion will also be an injection of energy into one of Yorkshire's oldest cricket clubs meaning we can not only stay in the top flight but continue to welcome members old and new of all ages, sexes and abilities, and provide a meeting place for community groups during the winter and sustain an income stream that will help us develop the club further.
We need to raise around £300,000, with £90,000 being raised solely by ourselves before April 2018.
Please help us. You can make a donation of any size at on our donation page. Or you may want to consider buying a brick as an individual or company - you’ll get your name or inscription on the new pavilion roll of honour.
